Description
Situated in the community of Saint Michel de Fronsac, this 23 hectare property has been run by the same family since 1769. Patrick de Cournouaud runs the property today, and his delicious Bordeaux blend is produced from vines averaging 55 years of age. This elegant wine is from a charming vintage. Dense in colour, it has an intense blackcurrant and plum bouquet with great concentration. Full-bodied and well-balanced on the palate with slight peppery notes, it has plenty of fine, harmonious tannins. Perfect with beef and rich pasta dishes.
