Averys own label Burgundy are made by a rapidly rising young star named Nicolas Potel, whose father was part owner of the acclaimed Domaine de la Pousse d'Or. We carried out such extensive search and taste missions before settling on these outstanding products that we can say with total confidence, not only are they wines you can trust .... they are wines you will thoroughly enjoy.





Chosen from selected vineyards bordering Meursault, our 2006 wine was fermented and aged for eleven months in oak barrels, 20% of which were new.



Its rich complexity of flavour has been enhanced further by remaining on its lees until it was bottled, with only a light filtration. It displays the classic oatmeal, hazelnut and biscuit flavours of Chardonnay, with a complex middle palate and a mineral acidity which promises a great future.
