This family-run, 20ha domaine is operated by Bernard Billaud and his wine-maker nephew Samuel and includes holdings in three Grand Cru vineyards. Their Chablis is an exciting, top-notch wine that reflects its flinty, Kimmeridgian soils beautifully. Available in strictly limited amounts in the UK, this classic Chablis is intense with crushed shell aromas and a taut mineral acidity on the palate. It has a persistent, fine finish. Drink 2008-2012
