Welcome to one of Chablis' most acclaimed estates. As wine bible La Revue du Vin de France states, Billaud Simon is now 'at the height of its know-how: the range of Premiers Crus and Grands Crus is remarkably diverse, the accuracy of vinification has never reached such summits'. This lively, flinty wine is a pale lemon yellow colour. Though a little closed at present, the intense bouquet has definite citrussy suggestions. With surprising softness in the middle and delicate acidity on the stylish finish, this Chablis will develop beautifully.
