This family-run, 20ha domaine is operated by Bernard Billaud and his winemaker nephew Samuel. It includes holdings in three separate Grand Cru vineyards. This particular cuvee is a top-notch Grand Cru that really manages to express the quintessence of its distinctively flinty, Kimmeridgian soils. It is complex and has already developed a delicately stylish palate, which comes as something of a surprise following its more powerful bouquet.
