This domaine is one of the most well-known and respected producers in the entire Cote de Beaune, with Joseph's son Roger now competently in charge of the reins. His Puligny Premier Cru has an overt, new oak nose with Chardonnay's classic oatmeal and fruit flavours. The depth is already there and the richness potential for this wine is considerable, its good acidity is well covered by pure and ample fruit flavours. Stylish with great length and will age well.
