Averys Fine Red Burgundy 2006

Description
Sourced from 35-year-old vines from the Cotes de Nuits and Cotes de Beaune, this wine has spent 11 months in oak barrels to give greater complexity. It has not undergone racking or fining, simply a light filtration to retain the purity of fruit.


The Averys Fine Red Burgundy shows powerful rich pinot noir flavours with hints of raspberry and black cherry. Still young, the wine has good flavour and real depth of character.


Averys own label Burgundy is made by a rapidly rising young star named Nicolas Potel, whose father was part owner of the acclaimed Domaine de la Pousse d'Or. We carried out such an extensive search and taste mission before settling on this outstanding product, that we can say with total confidence, not only is it a wine you can trust .... it is a wine you will thoroughly enjoy.
