Description
This impeccably maintained 30ha family estate is run by Arnaud Chopin and his brother Alban. Rising star winemaker Arnaud has taken inspiration from a fact-finding mission to South Africa, where he worked for some time. His striking wines include this lovely Bas de Combe, a wine with a good deep colour for the vintage. It has a nice, ripe black fruit bouquet with distinctive spicy notes and a full, rounded early palate. On the finish the tannins are slightly drying though nicely integrated. Drink 2009-2012 Prices are for the wine cost only lying in bond Nailsea. On receipt of the wine, duty, VAT and delivery will be payable.
