This hand selected exclusive Averys blend epitomises the quality to be found in the southern Rhone. Intense old vine Grenache, sun-ripened Syrah and Carignan fruits were harvested at the family run Domaine Fond Crozes, whose vineyards skirt the prestigious Cotes du Rhone Villages appellations of Cairanne and Rasteau. This fresh, un-oaked ruby-coloured wine reveals enticing aromas of red cherries, with juicy succulent fruits appearing on a smooth palate. An excellent food wine with a gentle lingering finish; serve with tender lamb, peppered steak or roasted vegetable dishes for an evocative experience of the Rhone.
