While many Cotes du Rhone reds rely solely on the up-front charms of Grenache, Chateau des Quatre Filles takes its cue from near-by Chateauneuf-du-Pape adding a high proportion of Syrah plus colourful Carignan. The result is a wine of award-winning depth and complexity with aromas and flavours of crushed red berries and spice. This is the estate's 7th consecutive medal-winning vintage. Bronze medal winner at Macon in 2007.
