Description
Late harvesting gives more concentration of fruit and flavour. Founded in 1890, Gunderloch is the Rheinhessen's most renowned estate. Fritz Hasselbach is the estate's larger than life winemaker. You will always hear him coming before you see him as his preferred mode of transport around all but the steepest vineyards is his 1200cc Harley Davidson. This wine has an alcohol level of 8.5. Light residual in sweetness, delicate acidity reminding you of peaches and apricots, a long mineral finish.
