Enate Gewurztraminer 2006 Somontano

Classic Gewurz - full and spicy with rose petal, violet and ginger aromas. Works very well with far eastern cuisine. Somontano, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, is one of Spain's less well known wine regions. Its emergence onto the international wine scene has been due in no small part to the quality-minded winery, Enate. Winemaker Jesus Artajona joined the team in 1992 having trained in Bordeaux and worked with such prestigious establishments as Chateau Margaux. This is a young and dynamic winery epitomising Spanish wine's new-found vitality.
