Description
Fresh, up-front Chardonnay with bright, apple-y fruit and a mineral-laced quality. Distinctive and delicious. Somontano, in the foothills of the Pyrenees, is one of Spain's less well known wine regions. Its emergence onto the international wine scene has been due in no small part to the quality-minded winery, Enate. Winemaker Jesus Artajona joined the team in 1992 having trained in Bordeaux and worked with such prestigious establishments as Chateau Margaux. This is a young and dynamic winery epitomises Spanish wine's new-found vitality.
