Description
The dry version of Recioto, the various Valpolicella grapes are harvested and dried prior to fermentation. The wine is fully fermented leaving no residual sugar and a big, wholly imposing, fruit-laden red with distinctly pleasant 'amarone' (bitter) aftertaste. Nose of sweet berry fruit and herbs. Dense, rich palate with sweet cherry fruit, warming alcohol and velvet tannins.
