Description
One of the wine world's hidden treasures comes from the homeland of St Francis of Assisi. Sagrantino is grown in only the tiniest quantities around Perugia in the Montefalco zone. It produces wine of great concentration, liveliness and colour with an unashamed touch of biterness on the finish. There are only a dozen or so producers of this rare variety in the world.
