Description
A single vineyard Barolo often highly rated by Robert Parker. First documented in community records in 1200, there is no doubting Cerequio's supremacy among the vineyards of the Langhe. Michele Chiarlo owns 15 of a total of 45 acres in the Cerequio vineyard. The wine is aged in large, 5000 oak vats in the traditional manner. Over time Cerequio develops an impressive aromatic palette that is both complex and aristocratic. It is ample and rich yet delicate, with seductive ripe black fruit and spice notes and underlying tannic power.
