Antigniano are at the heart of the Umbrian wine scene and work with renowned wine consultant, Ricardo Cottarella, sometimes referred to as 'Parker's favourite Italian Winemaker' and twice voted Italian winemaker of the year. It is no wonder that with such experience on board, Antigniano are producing such stunning wines. A blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano and Cabernet Sauvignon, the Cabernet adds backbone to the fruit and spice provided by the Montepulciano and Sangiovese. Rich, dark colour with spicy, damson fruit and a touch of liquorice, this is a serious wine. Aged in small French oak barriques, this elegant, smooth and refined red wouldn't look out of place in a Chianti Classico tasting.
