This Macon-Villages was produced from 40 year old chardonnay grapes which have ripened on the gentle slopes of the village of Clesse, in the south of Burgundy. Harvested by hand, it was left to ferment slowly and was aged on fine lies for nine months before bottling. Yellow gold in colour, rich and delicate flavours of acacia and daisy flowers, honey and a fresh touch of lemon . In the mouth, is shows a very good balance with a mineral note on the aftertaste.
