A blend of 87% Merlot and 13% Petit Verdot gives this wine a deep ruby red colour with crimson hues. This wine has a bouquet with primary aromas of coconut and cedar, with violets, plum, rhubarb and herb complexities, and a palate of cranberry and plum fruit. The finish is coffee and lingering dark chocolate. The wine was matured on French oak giving spice coconut complexity and length of flavour. Some Petit Verdot was added for some lifted floral fruit character.
