This wine has been aged in a mixture of new and older French and American oak for 24 months. This wine shows plenty of youth still and its ripe fruit give an apparent sweetness to the wine that means that it is drinking well now, but will age well for the next 3-5 years. A round structured wine with aromas of blueberry and currant, with hints of violet and cigarbox followed by a palate of blueberry and plum ending with a herbal savoury like finish.
