Semillon is an undervalued variety but when it is given serious attention like this it really is something special. Ripe citrus, lemonbalm and lanolin on the nose, the palate is tangy and fresh with lemon curd flavours, fresh limes and rounder notes of honeysuckle and peach. A crisp lift of acidity cleanses the palate on the finish. Delicious.
A small portion of this wine was fermented in French oak hogsheads.
