Description
Luis Pato makes some of the best still wines in Portugal. This white wine, made from the indiginous Maria Gomez variety grown on 35 year old vines, is delicious as an aperitif or with seafood. His Barriada region wines are de-classified to Beiras so that he has more flexibility in varietals and legals. The Maria Gomez is a slightly peppery varietal not dissimilar to the Gruner Veltliner of Austria.
