Description
NB: There will be a delay of approx 10 days from order to despatch of this wine The grapes are macerated cold at 7 degrees for 8 days before fermentation and further maceration on the skins for 40 days. Aged for 12 months in oak tonneaux followed by 6 months in tank, this wine shows spice and liquorice together with vanilla and chocolate on the nose. The palate is full and rich bodied with silky tannins through to an intense and persistant finish with notes of ripe red fruits and tobacco. It is made at the estate owned by renowned F1 driver Jarno Trulli who says "I've always sought perfection in everything I do ; in a racing car where split seconds make the difference, and in the vineyard where it has taken years of hard work to give our wine its special character and originality."
