Domaine Gerard Metz stretches over 12 hectares of vineyard on the vosgean buttress, in Itterswiller. The vineyards are well-known for their different soils - each soil having a unique grape-variety. We use this diversity of soils to cultivate the entire Alsatian grape-variety range : Sylvaner, Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer and Pinot Noir. On our domain, the wine making is done traditionally. For a few years now, they have worked in sustainable agriculture and use more and more natural products, in order to preserve the environment. This wine has a lovely rosepetal nose and a matching dry palate. They have been written about in Guide Hachette, Parker, Decanter, Wine and have received various medals.
