Description
Chiroubles is one of the tiniest Crus of Beaujolais. Right next to Fleurie its wines are typically silken and rich. This wine is from the Family Gravallon, Fernand and his wife, and their daughter Cathy and her husband Cedric Lathuiliere who is the wine maker, although they all share in the blending and decision making. This Chiroubles is light in colour, vivid ruby red. Red fruit aromas (wild strawberry and raspberry) underline the essential quality of a great Cru grown on the slopes. This is a wine with very little tannin that is tender and very refined and is an excellent accompaniment to starters (light terrines).
