From vines that average at 30years old, in the 470Ha estate in the communer of Castelnuovo on the southern border of the Chianti Classico area. Winemakers tasting note "Deep coloured wine, with good intensity of ripe, blackberries and red fruits on the nose. Powerful but still elegant on the palate, with an attractive structure supporting the mature, rounded fruit. It has nicely integrated tannins and spicy notes conveyed by the oak ageing.
