Tempranillo from a passionate new producer in the Alentejo. When Alicia Chaves was woken in the night by her husband to be informed that he was going to quit work and buy a vineyard she just thought that he was having a nightmare - 2 weeks later he had left his job and was looking in Alentejo. This "2005" table wine is their first vintage - NV because they did not have a winery built in time and the grapes had to be sent out of the region for making and bottling. From 2006 onwards they have used their new cellars. They have already received awards and accolades for their wines and the Vina de Mesa. this wine has spent 4 months in French oak.
