Description
From the northern Rhone's own joint venture 'super estate', Pierre Gaillard, Francois Villard and Yves Cuilleron make this barrel-aged cuvee from low-yielding Marsanne (60%) and Rousanne (40%) vines. Saint-Peray's granitic soils and cool microclimate on the Rhone's right bank give the wine a delicate nose, with bracing acidity and rich herb and vanilla flavours on the palate. Drink now to 2011.
