Description
A blend of 90% Sangiovese and 10% Canaiolo Nero, this wine has been aged in 30/60 HL oak casks for 6-8 months and then stored in stainless steel tanks for a further 10-12 months. After bottling, the wine is refined for at least 6 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby red colour tending to garnet. The bouquet is fragrant with hints of vanilla and oak balanced by the violet and the dark fruit aroma of cherry and wild berries. On the palate, the wine is smooth and velvety with gentle tannins and a harmonic and persistent finish.

Ideal with flavourful pastas, grilled meats, steaks, wild game and seasoned cheeses
