It's reassuring to know that a few choice bottles are waiting patiently in the wine rack, for dinner parties, special occasions or simply to delve into when the fancy takes us. So, following valuable feedback from you, my best customers, I have created a rather exclusive wine service. Let me introduce my very own, personal 'Signature Collection'.
The 'Signature Collection is a quarterly wine service, something of a select 'club' I suppose we would call it. One classic case of 12 (containing 2 bottles each of 6 wonderful wines) will be delivered to you every quarter, carefully vetted and chosen by myself from a spectrum of hundreds. Only the very good quality wines, renowned estates and recognizable names will be considered for inclusion. Fear not, bottles I would not drink myself with absolute confidence will not make it into the case.
As my best customers, I am well aware that many of you are rather well versed in fine wines yourselves. I have risen to this challenge, and genuinely believe that my 'Signature Collection' will not fail to please. Each diverse case comprises 6 reds and 6 whites unless you specify a reds or whites only case. I will also pop my in-depth tasting notes into each case, so you know exactly what you are drinking. All notes are my personal impressions of the wines selected.

Domaine Les Chaumes 2006, Sancerre, France
The Bardin family have just 4ha of prestigious vineyards on the slopes of the Loire. This is a delightfully fresh Sancerre from a super little domaine.
Bourgogne Blanc 2006, Domaine Henri Prudhon, France
This elegant 2006 Burgundy is from one of the oldest family domaines in the village of St Aubin. It is delicate in style with mineral notes and a soft, creamy finish.
Margan Aged Semillon 2001, Hunter Valley, Australia
This beautifully mature wine comes from the Hunter Valley, home to some of the world's finest Semillon. Rich and full-flavoured, it combines ripe citrus fruit with attractive herbaceous characters.

Rutherford Ranch Cabernet Sauvignon 2005, Napa Valley, USA
A complex and stylish Cabernet Sauvignon with spicy fruit and integrated cigar box characters. Rutherford Ranch is an excellent value Cabernet from California's world-renowned Napa Valley.
Paxton AAA Grenache Shiraz 2005, McLaren Vale, Australia
Paxton produce some of Australia's most prestigious offerings and this 2005 Grenache Shiraz is a super example that is already sold out in Australia. I'd recommend stocking up whilst you can!
Château Barreyre 2004, Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, France
This sumptuous, oak-aged Merlot-driven blend is from vineyards in the Premières Côtes de Bordeaux, a particularly good source of attractive claret at very reasonable prices.

Thereafter, a preview letter advising you of the forthcoming selection will arrive one month in advance of each quarter's personally selected case of wines. This allows ample time for you to skip a case should your wine racks still be full. If you wish to cancel altogether, no problem, simply let us know

If you are unhappy with any substitutions you receive we will arrange collection at our cost. Your wine should arrive within a week. If you do not receive your wines in 14 days please notify us. For Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, please allow an extra few days. UK addresses only, excluding Channel Islands. Calls are charged at national rate. Averys Ltd will use information about you to make offers based on your wine preferences.A courtesy preview letter will be sent a month before your next case is due, detailing the wines to be featured. Each quarterly case will cost no more than £120 (plus £6.99 delivery). If, upon receiving your courtesy preview letter, you decide not to take your case, simply let us know by phone or in writing. There is no obligation at all - 'take a break' as often as you like.
