Our Summer Sale is here again and with it a great opportunity, not just to fill your wine racks for summer but also to pick up some select wines to lay down. It will make them all the more delicous in years to come when you remember how little you paid for them! To help you out, I've picked out just a few of my recommendations of those to enjoy now and those to keep in the cellar for later.

Wines to Savour Now
There are some superb mature parcels at particularly impressive prices in our Summer Sale. The Marques de Solariego Reserva Rioja i unmissable at just £6.99 per bottle. I would also recommend a couple of claret parcels, the 1994 Château de Ferrand St Emilion Grand Cru and the 1996 Château Tour de Haut-Moulin Cru Bourgeois Haut Médoc. These both represent remarkable value for money. For whites, we are delighted that the Domaine de Bel Air Pouilly Fumé has won a gold medal at the International Wine Challenge and at just £9.99 per bottle, it is a perfect aperitif this summer.

Wines to Lay Down
We all know by now that Bordeaux 2005 was a stunning vintage and one that I encourage you to buy as much as you can now. This is a vintage where prices are only going upwards, so take a look at our claret brochure and select some good value wines before we sell out. Many are still on the young side at the moment but will open up beautifully with time. Also, try the new Averys Crozes Hermitage from Michel Chapoutier, it is only a small parcel but wines by Chapoutier should have a place in everyone's cellar.
One last tip; don't miss our Fine Wine offers. There are some real treasures in these mixed cases that are well worth buying now while at such favourable prices.
