It's reassuring to know that a few choice bottles are waiting patiently in the wine rack, for dinner parties, special occasions or simply to delve into when the fancy takes us. So, following valuable feedback from you, my best customers, I have created a rather exclusive wine service. Let me introduce my very own, personal 'Signature Collection'.
The 'Signature Collection is a quarterly wine service, something of a select 'club' I suppose we would call it. One classic case of 12 (containing 2 bottles each of 6 wonderful wines) will be delivered to you every quarter, carefully vetted and chosen by myself from a spectrum of hundreds. Only the very good quality wines, renowned estates and recognizable names will be considered for inclusion. Fear not, bottles I would not drink myself with absolute confidence will not make it into the case.
As my best customers, I am well aware that many of you are rather well versed in fine wines yourselves. I have risen to this challenge, and genuinely believe that my 'Signature Collection' will not fail to please. Each diverse case comprises 6 reds and 6 whites unless you specify a reds or whites only case. I will also pop my in-depth tasting notes into each case, so you know exactly what you are drinking. All notes are my personal impressions of the wines selected.

Saint Clair Sauvignon Blanc 2007, Marlborough, New Zealand
This powerful, triple Gold wine is from a fine NZ Producer of the Year. Utterly confident and tropically fruity.
Domaine de Bel Air 2005, Pouilly Fumé, France
This delightfully dry white is from world-class Loire terroir neighbouring Sancerre. Gunflint and smoke characters.
Chablis 2006, Domaine Christophe Camu
If you love white Burgundy and good Chablis, savour thsi high calibre cuveé from Camu's qualitative enclave.
The Introductory Case Reds
Cape Mentelle Shiraz 2003, Margaret River, Western Australia
Cloudy Bay and Cape Mentelle are actually sister companies. Enjoy this regionally distinct and intense Shiraz from their preium terroirs in the cool climate Margaret River region.
Domaine Servans 2001, Côtes du Rhône, France
2001 produced many excellent Rhônes such as this old-vine Grenache-Syrah. Easy-drinking with excellent length.
Château Mazeris 2001, Canon Fronsac, France
This family-run Château just west of Saint Emilion and Pomerol is in the appellation where the notion of a quality-related 'Cru' first appeared.

Thereafter, a preview letter advising you of the forthcoming selection will arrive one month in advance of each quarter's personally selected case of wines. This allows ample time for you to skip a case should your wine racks still be full. If you wish to cancel altogether, no problem, simply let us know

Introductory Offer: Purchasers must be 18 years or over. In the unlikely event of these wines becoming unavailable, a substitute of similar style and of equal or greater value will be supplied. If you are unhappy with any substitutions you receive we will arrange collection at our cost. Your wine should arrive within a week. If you do not receive your wines in 14 days please notify us. For Scottish Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland, please allow an extra few days. UK addresses only, excluding Channel Islands. Calls are charged at national rate. Averys Ltd will use information about you to make offers based on your wine preferences.A courtesy preview letter will be sent a month before your next case is due, detailing the wines to be featured. Each quarterly case will cost no more than £120 (plus £6.99 delivery). If, upon receiving your courtesy preview letter, you decide not to take your case, simply let us know by phone or in writing. There is no obligation at all - 'take a break' as often as you like.
