We have worked with Olivier Cazenave for many years and his wines are among our bestselling Bordeaux. Chateau de Bel is a small property of just 8 hectares of vines on the banks of the Dordogne river, just outside Libourne and a stone’s throw from Saint-Émilion Hand-crafted using hand-harvested 100% Merlot noir This Bordeaux rosé is unusual in that it is made in the light, fine and delicate style of South-East France. To achieve this style, the grape juice is separated from the grapes and skins straight after harvest and is fermented separately at a cool temperature. Fresh and elegant with aromas of strawberries and cream. Highly refreshing with summer red berries on the palate and a crisp, bright finish. Delicious with salmon or prawns :) .
