Well placed, close to Pauillac and Saint-Estèphe, Château Cissac produces a very rewarding, traditional-style claret. Put your bottles away for a few years to allow it to develop. A fine Cru Bourgeois that consistently outperforms its classification.

Wine Advocate, Yohan Castaing, 88-90pts: Compared to its predecessor, the 2023 Cissac presents a more dense and austere profile, with aromas of cassis, spices, gentian and licorice. Medium-bodied, chewy and rich, it’s firm and concentrated with structured tannins and a long, mineral but dry finish.
