Château du Druc comes from the ancient estate of Château d’Arricaud, once owned by the President of the Parliament of Bordeaux. The estate is situated on classic gravel soils overlooking the vineyards of Sauternes and facing the Garonne; one of the finest positions in the region.Blends the tangy richness of Semillon with the crisp refreshing flavours of Sauvignon Blanc and floral freshness from MuscadelleGraves produces some of the top Bordeaux whites such as Smith Haut Laffite and Domaine de Chevalier. Rarely do you see them at such an affordable price as this2012 was a great year for Bordeaux’s dry whites “Graves is one of the oldest regions of Bordeaux and the wines maintain a certain elegance as though, being historical, they don’t need to show off. It is one of my favourite appellations, for the superb (and superb they are in 2012) dry whites.” - Steven Spurrier, Decanter. "Aromatic hints of grass and green apples, distinctly dry palate and a persistent finish." Recommended by the panel of the Bordeaux Wines Council as one of the best value Bordeaux in the UK
