A world of wine – in your home

Join us between Wednesday 11th and Saturday 14th November for a celebration of wine.

For four consecutive nights, we will be hosting live “virtual” masterclasses with some of our favourite suppliers, who have been regular attendees at our Summer of Wine and Celebration of Wine events, normally hosted in June and November in Bristol.

Although we are disappointed not to be hosting you in person this year, going online gives us the chance to share the knowledge and passion of these producers in a new format, and across the country!

Each evening we will be hosting two 45-minute masterclasses. To get the most out of the masterclass, purchase the producer ‘add-on’ case so that you can taste-along during the session, as they will be focussing on these wines during the presentation.

To register for the masterclasses, please email events@averys.com, stating the events that you would like to join, and we will send you the Zoom link in due course.

Wines of Bordeaux with Sovex, France

Averys has long been known for its relationship with the Bordeaux wine region. Ronald Avery was often the first to know about the best vintages in Bordeaux, travelling especially to taste them in-situ from the early 1920s. He championed the right-bank wines of Pomerol, held a back catalogue of Cheval Blanc and was the first to bring the then little-known Pétrus, to British shores. Sovex carry a wide portfolio of wines from Bordeaux and ensure that we maintain our reputation for great quality wines from some of the regions best producers, from large estates to small, independent vineyards. Learn more about the region as you enjoy two delicious examples of what Bordeaux has to offer, Château Maine D'Arman Cotes de Bourg 2017 and Château Muret Haut Medoc 2014. Buy the wines to taste-along during this session for £34.
