First and most importantly, in these challenging times for all, we hope this message finds you safe and well.
We all need to follow Government advice to help beat the virus and, as we stay in, hopefully wine can provide some pleasure and relaxation – much needed at a time like this.
It goes without saying that the health and well-being of our customers and team will always be our first priority. With that in mind we have made a series of changes to how we serve you.
The offices are closed and staff are working from home where possible until further notice.
Our call-centre is a virtual one, with staff set up to work from home.
If you are an Avery’s shop customer, call the shop about ‘phone & collect’ services.
Events have all been postponed.
We have changed arrangements in our warehouse, staggering shifts and increasing distancing between our staff in addition to a raft of additional cleaning and hygiene measures.
Drivers are not requiring signatures and can leave your wine in a safe place outside.
Due to current high demand we are reserving our home-delivery service for existing customers.
We hope you can appreciate that all these safety enhancements do slow things down a bit, resulting in longer delivery times than normal. So at this time we are only accepting orders from previous buyers to keep orders at a level that we can manage safely and sensibly.
So it’s not quite business as usual but stocks of wine, beer and spirits are good and we are in constant touch with our winemakers worldwide to maintain the flow of the wines you love. We will continue to use the website to communicate availability.
