Villa des Anges is our most popular rosé, no doubt owing to its fresh red fruit aromas, pale pink colour and crisp acidity. It’s similar in style to a Provence rosé at a very appealing price.
Made from 100% Cinsault grown on 35-40 year old vines, Villa des Anges rosé has a fantastic depth of local character
The Durand family have owned the estate since the 18th century, cultivating vines on the hillsides near the Capestang lagoon, which moderates the hot Mediterranean climate. The winemaker is Jeff Carrel, who many of you will know is a regular at our Bristol tastings
Crisp and refreshing, this rosé is perfect as an aperitif on a summer’s afternoon, as well as being a great match for a wide range of summer foods – from seafood to salads
Tasting note:A beautiful pale, pink colour. Dry, light and fresh with delicious raspberry and strawberry flavours alongside delicate hints of fresh herbs.
