Casa Elena is an estate-grown Sauvignon from Cremaschi Furlotti, a family-owned winery we’ve worked with for over 10 years. The Cremaschi Furlotti family began making wine in Italy 120 years ago. Today, 4th generation Pablo combines Chile's pure natural fruit with his Italian heritage and long winemaking tradition to create exceptional quality wines with a distinctive style.
The warm climate is tempered by cool breezes from both the Pacific Ocean and the Andes Mountains. This creates a long growing season with slow ripening of the grapes which enhances the flavours, intensity and concentration of the wines
Whether you’re a lover of Loire Sauvignons or normally prefer New Zealand, this is a wine you should try as it combines the best of both worlds
Crisp and zesty with racy citrus and tropical fruits, it’s perfect for enjoying with lemony pasta dishes or all manner of seafood
Tasting note:On the nose, there’s a delicate floral fragrance with fresh apricots adding complexity. A fresh, juicy palate with hints of apricots and gooseberries and a refreshing finish.
