Château Tour Haut Labrit is located in the commune of Moulon, on the left bank of the Dordogne River. A family property, it was founded by Mr and Mrs Fontaneau in 1940. Their son, Claude Fontaneau, now runs the estate, after taking over when his parents retired.
The excellent 2016 vintage is a delicious blend of 92% Merlot and 8% Cabernet Franc
The vineyards have excellent exposure on the banks of the Dordogne and are just across the river from Saint-Émilion
A full-bodied Bordeaux with savoury notes of leather and game, try with a hearty beef or venison casserole
Tasting note:A deep ruby red colour with a bouquet of bramble fruit, cedar and spice. On the palate, the wine is well-balanced and rich with lots of Bordeaux character.
