Here's the kind of story you see in the movies. In 2015, Nick and Lisa were on holiday in the Languedoc, a part of France they'd always loved - for the people, the landscape and, of course, the wines. One afternoon, they popped into this small domaine to taste the wines. Six months later, they had the keys. But this was no romantic folly. Both Nick and Lisa hail from corporate backgrounds, so they had the foresight to keep hold of the skills of head winemaker Vincent Maurel. Vincent's been working here for the best part of 20 years, winning many awards for his elegant wines. To craft this Viognier, part of the wine is fermented in oak barrels to add a subtle layer of creamy spice. It's a great white solo or with creamy chicken dishes.
