Ventoux is one of the most exciting, up-and-coming areas of the Rhône owing to its distinctly cooler climate. It gives the wines a freshness and finesse which is especially noticeable in the region’s whites. Ventoux Sud Blanc is an unoaked blend of Clairette, Grenache Blanc and Bourboulenc, and has wonderful aromas of pears, almond and white flowers. Rich and rounded on the palate with a silky texture and crisp, lemon and lime finish, it’s perfect for early-autumn days served with herb-roasted chicken or goat’s cheese and pear salad.
