If you thought for a moment that Australia was too warm to bring you a rosé crackling with zesty freshment, unleash the flavours of Patronus The Doe. It's a delicious cuvée combining the red grape South Australia does best – Shiraz. The fruit was selected from some of the state's finest regions and picked early to ensure plenty of crispness. It's a real crowd pleaser, with enough heft to match meat dishes and the pizzazz and zip to partner seafood, salads and spicy Asian cuisine. All sorts. Best of all, it's a great wine to chill down and enjoy with pals. A long lunch in the sunshine perhaps. And definitely at a barbecue, as the coals (the old-fashioned way) warm up and with all the chargrilled offerings. Chill well and sip!
