Wine drinkers have fallen head over heels with the great taste and terrific value of Portugal's wines. Atlântico Branco is a blend of some of its top grapes, including Antão Vaz, Encruzado and Verdelho. Antão Vaz is highly prized in the Alentejo region for its ripe tropical fruits, vibrant aromas and crisp, refreshing style. Encruzado has light citrus and mineral aromas and is similar in style to a restrained Sauvignon Blanc. Verdelho is a grape that has already captured the imagination of Australian winemakers and no surprises why – it’s tangy and aromatic with hints of lime and honeysuckle. This is a fresh fruit white, with hints of blossom and minerality. Chilled, it's great solo or with grilled fish, spicy prawns or a simple risotto.
