Founded in 1821, Barbadillo is world renowned. In 2015 it was named ‘Best Winery of the Year’ by Guía Peñín and its Manzanilla Solear was awarded ‘Best Manzanilla in the World’. 7th generation, the company is still one of the most innovative in the wine world and boasts 500 hectares of Jerez vines and remarkable stocks of Palo Cortado for blending. Amontillado is its richer style, aged under flor (the special yeast covering that naturally occurs on the surface), then allowed to oxidise and blended traditionally using the solera system.
