Creamy Rioja from the Manzanos brothers
Averys Label wines are personally chosen by our buyers to give you the best possible quality and value in some of the world’s most famous wine regions. Averys Rioja Crianza is made in partnership with the Manzanos family, whose winemaking history in the region stretches back over 120 years. We wanted this to be a Rioja with a real wow factor so we used mainly Tempranillo from the high zones of Rioja Alta which gives it freshness and elegance. A dash of Garnacha adds a velvety texture whilst the local Graciano brings a gorgeous perfume. Finally, although it’s labelled a Crianza, it’s spent around 18 months ageing in barrel – longer than some Reservas. Look forward to plush red fruit flavours with hints of chocolate, dates and spice.
