The Wine
The Seleccíon Numerada range is a wonderful opportunity to try one-off, outstanding parcels of wine. We’ve agreed a great price with the winery, under the understanding that we won’t reveal their name. What we can tell you is that this parcel is from a top boutique winery in Rioja, with a fantastic range of multi-award-winning wines. This Reserva is made from the finest Tempranillo grapes picked from high-altitude vineyards in Rioja Alavesa. The cooler temperatures slow down the ripening, creating elegant yet concentrated flavours. Aged for 35 months in oak barrels, it’s a classic, complex Rioja Reserva showing ripe berry fruit, spice box and toasty vanilla. Great paired with tapas or roast meats. Decant carefully and let the aromas unfurl.
