Averys have worked closely with Bodegas Manzanos to create our superb own label Rioja Crianza. It displays the very best characteristics of the Rioja region. The blend consists of Tempranillo harvested from the higher zones of Rioja Alta, Garnacha from the best zones of Rioja Oriental, and a touch of Graciano. This Crianza spends 18-24 months in French oak resulting in a complex, well-structured wine. “I’m in the tasting room at Manzanos and the Crianza for the Averys label is stunning!” said our buyer, Beth Willard. Brimming with raspberries, red cherries and chocolate, the palate is elegant and fresh with red fruits, spice and soft, supple tannins. Savour on its own or with chicken casserole or a spicy pilaf.

"Exemplary quality make this Crianza qualify as an Averys own-label. Toasty berry fruit length" Beth Willard
