Casa Silva was founded by Emilio Bouchon who arrived in Chile from Bordeaux in 1892. Today, it is run by 5th generation Mario Pablo Silva, who has taken the estate to the upper echelons of Chilean wine. Winners of ‘most awarded winery of the 21st Century’ (Vitis Magazine), the wines of Casa Silva never fail to impress. The estate has pioneered new regions in Chile and has been at the forefront of research into Chilean viticulture. Their Pinot Noir Reserva easily rivals much more expensive Pinots from New Zealand and California, and offers superb value for money. Deep and fragrant nose with strawberry and violet aromas. Supple and smooth on the palate with fresh summer berry fruits and subtle tannins on the finish. Delicious with charcuterie and cheeses.
