New to our list, Château Cabiron is a traditional claret blended from 50% Merlot, 40% Cabernet Sauvignon and 10% Cabernet Franc. It’s made by Patrick Laveau at his small winery in Saint-Félix-de-Foncaude in the Entre-deux Mers region. 2014 is a delicious, approachable vintage with many of the wines showing beautiful fruit and freshness.
This one is drinking superbly now and we’re not the only ones to approve
It was recommended in France’s Gilbert & Gaillard Guide and secured gold medals at top wine competitions in both Bordeaux and Mâcon
A classic claret to enjoy with red meats, charcuterie and cheeses
Tasting note:A vibrant, youthful colour with attractive aromas of juicy black fruits and ripe plums. Smooth and wellbalanced, it has lovely ripe fruit on the palate with a delicate hint of spice on the long-lasting finish.
